Can you paint aluminum siding?  Yes! In fact, in most cases, painting aluminum siding is a good idea.  If the siding is worn down, painting will help it last longer, and if properly prepped, it can help prevent areas that may be allowing leaks into your home. Also, uncovered, the aluminum can begin to oxidize which can ruin it over time.

So what’s the best way to paint over wallpaper?
Typically, painting over wallpaper should be a last resort.
If the wallpaper can be removed relatively easily, just take it down, prep, and paint!
Think about it this way – you’ve put PAPER on your wall, and then you are going to paint it with probably a WATER based PAINT – what happens when you mix PAPER and WATER?
